AKTU sparks a meaningful discussion on Cyber Safety

Lucknow: UP One Day Masters Trainer Training Program on Cyber Safety was organized by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, CDAC and Innovation Hub at AKTU. Chief Guest DIG Cyber Crime Pawan Kumar inaugurated the program. He said that in today’s era, cyber crime is one of the biggest problems in the world. It is spreading rapidly. Its methods of fraud are also changing every day. He said that about six lakh cases of cyber crime are registered in the state. Whereas in comparison to this, the number of policemen is very less. Cyber crime can be reduced through awareness but it cannot be completely stopped. Therefore, full proof preparations have to be made to stop it. He said that two ways can help a lot in preventing cyber crime.

First, the person in whose name the mobile number is should use it. Similarly, the person in whose name the bank account is, should operate it. If someone else uses it, then there is a high possibility of cyber crime. CDAC’s M Jagdish Babu, Vice Chancellor Professor JP Pandey, Associate Dean Innovation Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma and many others were present. It was conducted by Vandana Sharma and Innovation Hub head Maheep Singh. Police officers, teachers and students from all over the state participated in this program.

Do not share account information with anyone

SP Cyber Crime Rajesh Kumar Yadav said that cyber crime can be avoided by keeping some things in mind. For this, it is most important that you do not share your account information with anyone. Do not get caught in the trap of misleading advertisements. If you ever become a victim of cyber crime, then immediately call the toll free number and file a report.

First the police should know about cyber security

Former IPS and Chief Mentor of FCRF Prof. Triveni Singh said that after the advent of Artificial Intelligence, cyber crime has become even easier. Therefore, the responsibility of the policemen has increased. First the police will have to know about technology and cyber security themselves. So that they can fully help the public.
